UKTI Mission Chinese e-Health & telemedicine (with visit to Shanghai Expo)

5-9 July 2010
Organised by: UK Trade and Investment
Marketing Support from: Asia-Pacific Technology Network

The mission will be meeting Provincial Health Authorities, Chinese companies as well as Hospitals etc. With the landscape of Healthcare delivery in China very broad and mixed it is an opportunity to gain an understanding of where the opportunities lie and for companies to benefit from accessing senior levels in these organisation and to have pre-competitive discussions etc that commercially would be invaluable and likely very difficult alone. UKTI operates the GVC model in meeting these organisation with a long term relationship approach being taken and as a Government sponsored group then the provincial Health Authorities consider this a very strategic and credible visit.   The mission will also visiti national centres of Excellence associated with Tele-Health which will provide an insight into current thinking and levels of investment and opportunities for international companies to collaborate and partner. The new health reforms in China are at an early stage with many organisations still debating how best to deliver. From the draft programme you will see other specific targeted meetings as attached.
