This is a selective, annotated bibliography originally produced for LSE graduate students who attend a course I (jointly) teach on Business in the Global Environment. I feel that this bibliography gives a pretty comprehensive introduction to what is happening through the region from Japan through to India. China is over-represented, but that reflects the current state of the publishing industry. ASEAN is badly under-represented, and I will try to adjust the balance over the winter.
I have not put in ISBN numbers. You will be able to check up on any of these books by going to Amazon.com and searching on the title or the author. Amazon gives you lots readers reviews (often very good) and steers you towards related books which might interest you. ....... so use this bibliography as an initial stepping stone. The question they don't try to answer is whether this change will be fast enough to maintain Japanese competitiveness
Asia!
