Sponsorship Options

We are currently looking for our first background sponsor at £2500 (+VAT) 

  • You will be badged as a core sponsor on all our seminar activities with possible occasional exceptions such as when someone originates and sponsors a single seminar on an exclusive basis
  • We will consult you on the general shape and content of our overall seminar activities
  • We will also keep you briefed on our wider activities, such as the development of major conferences with countries such as Japan, China or Korea. 
  • During the course of the year, we would negotiate with you to find seminars where you can provide qualified chairs or speakers 
  • Where there is room at a seminar, you will have first choice of display space 
  • Your executives can come to seminars for free (in exceptional circumstances, we may have to levy some charge) 
  • You can bring an average of two guests per seminar 
  • We will put a page up on our website devoted to you. 
  • Once a quarter, APTN will do an email on your behalf to our overall mailing list. 

Specialist Seminar Series: Shared Sponsorship (£1000 + VAT)

  • Currently (early summer 2009),  we are developing the following strands, where we run seminars at roughly one per quarter. 
    • AP Biomed Series -
    • Asian Electronics
    • Asian Innovation
    • Chinese-Indiansectoral comparisons
    • Japan-UK Life Sciences
  • We would normally aim to have up to four sponsors of any such specialist seminar strand.
  • You will be badged as a core sponsor of your chosen Specialist Seminar series 
  • We will consult you on the general shape and content of the chosen Seminar strand
  • During the course of the year, we would negotiate with you to find occasions where you can provide qualified chairs or speakers within this chosen Seminar strand 
  • Where there is room at a relevant seminar, you will have first choice of display space 
  • Your executives can come to relevant seminars for free (in exceptional circumstances, we may have to levy some charge) 
  • You can bring an average of two guests to seminars within the chosen Seminar strand 
  • This offer assumes the relevant seminars will be our traditional, early evening affairs. There may be circumstances where the economics of the seminars may change (we might want to run half-day events, put on a dinner after a seminar etc). We reserve the right to pass on the marginal additional costs in such  exceptional (and consulted) circumstances. 
  • We will put a page up on our website devoted to you. 
  • Once a quarter we will do an email on your behalf to all those who have attended your chosen seminar strand. 

Single Seminar Sponsorship (exclusive) - (£1000 or £1500 + VAT)

  • On occasion, you may want to sponsor a single seminar within our general programme 
  • There are two rates on offer
    • the more expensive assumes that the audience of up to 40 is invited for free .... £1500 (+VAT)
    • the cheaper option assumes that we use our normal pricing policies .... £1000 (+VAT) 
    • In both cases, you would also have to pay for post-seminar catering costs (can be around £10 per head) 
    • We would work with you in the design of the programme and would normally assume that you provide a qualified chair or speaker as part of the sponsorship package 
    • You would have first choice of display space 
    • You would be able to invite an agreed number of executives and guests for free 
    • Where APTN has an overall sponsor, we would expect to be able to give them discreet acknowledgements.
    • Similarly, if you choose to sponsor a Seminar which naturally falls into the territory of one of our Specialist Seminar series, you would have the option of badging it as part of this series, in which case we would need to give discreet acknowledgement to the sponsors of that particular series. 
    • However, for this particular seminar, you would be acknowledged as the lead sponsor 
    • Apart from our background sponsors, you would have exclusive sponsorship rights to the particular seminar you are financing. 
    • This offer is based on costs which produce productive, but relatively low-frill seminars (choice of rooms, quality of staging, post-conference refreshments, amount of printed support material etc).If you require more expensive options (ie you want a particularly prestigious location), we reserve the right to negotiate with you for a contribution, above the rates quoted above, to cover exceptional costs. 
    • After the seminar, we will do an email on your behalf to all those attending the seminar, in which you can ask them to register their interest in continuing to receive approaches from you. 

Single Seminar Sponsorship (non-exclusive) (£500 and upwards + VAT)

  • On occasion, you might want us to add a particular topic into our overall seminar series, without your bidding for exclusive sponsorship rights. 
  • Providing the suggestion fits into our overall seminar remit, we will normally be happy to run such a seminar - for a fee. 
  • We would badge you as a sponsor of the event, but this would be on a non-exclusive basis - meaning that we could bring other sponsors in to help us defray costs.
  • We would consult you on speakers, chairs etc. We would consider your suggestions of qualified people who might chair or speak. 
  • We would offer you five free places at the seminar (extra places to be negotiated) 
  • Where there is room at the seminar, you (and other sponsors) would have first choice of display space. 
  • Where your proposed topic falls naturally into the territory of one of our Specialist Seminar series, we would negotiate about whether we badged it as part of this series. If we did, then you would also share sponsorship billing with  with the sponsors of that particular Series.
