This seminar will aim to assess the prospects for Chinese and Indian pharma and medical technology companies as they seek to carve out global positions. Will they settle down as players in their national economies, or will they carve out independent regional or global positions? Will they be strong enough to fight off the interest of western multinationals? Will they actually be strong enough to turn themselves into serious global competitors in their own right?
