In the 21st century information/communications environment where data are acquired, distributed and stored with amazing speed, in massive quantities crammed into nano-spaces, knowledge remains central to the success or failure of all social entities – business corporations, nation-states and international organisations.
To clarify the principles and analyse the specifics we have assembled experts from a variety of backgrounds who will examine the regulatory frameworks being implemented in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region as well as the implications of data privacy and protection for their cost of implementation, their influence on innovation and their impact on society.
