Philippa Rogers, Acting Head, Science and Innovation Group, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, London
With a background in biological sciences, Philippa spent her early career working for the UK Research Councils. Her posts included medical engineering, biotechnology and information technology. Philippa has been working for the Science and Innovation Network, at the FCO, since 1997, first in Washington DC, then in Tokyo, most recently as the Counsellor, Science and Innovation.
